Place into clamp assembly and leave for 15 minutes to fully dry
Pull the die out and inspect the opposite face
Fold the leather over the cardboard, smooth any wrinkles out
Allow glue to tack off, approx 1 minute
Remove from die

Inspect projection height, if too thick we make another pad with less felt
Remove key to see what the pad looks like having been fitted, nice even tone hole imprint on this one
I typically make my pads 5 of each needed size at a time
The picture of the resolene is my choice of waterproofing compound for the leather, - if you want to seal the pads
Refit key to bassoon
