P3

I typically do the joints one at a time, I leave this wing joint now for a week before doing anything else

You can see the Bell has already been fully completed

The wing joint has had the finish side completed, it needs final sanding and buffing and then posts back in, keys back on

The long joint will be next

Boot joint will be last

The Bassoon finish can be Nitro, Varnish, Polyester, Epoxy, Enamel, Shellac, Acrylic, Poly-urethane

I apply any finish that is requested with spray guns rather than rub them in
This wing joint has had two coats of finish applied
Our paint booth is equipped with a speed control motor that allows parts to move whilst we spray them to minimise contact
Everything gets painted or varished in our paint booth
